Daily Program schedules are designed to be flexible and diverse to
meet the needs and interests of all participants. Parents and
participants will be given a monthly calendar. A weekly schedule
with daily highlights is posted at the site for participants to follow.
Elementary Program Schedule:
3:00 pm — 4:00 pm Arrival and Unwind ~ Time
Participants arrive at the program at several different times due to dismissal
and transportation. This time allows staff to check each participant into the
program provide and handle any immediate needs. Participants are then
allowed to choose an activity. Options include homework, toys, books,
magazines, coloring, playdough, sensory or simply relaxing on a beanbag.
4:00pm—4:30pm Snack and Whats Up? Meeting
Includes a warm welcome from program staff, a review of the activities for
the day, and a funny or interesting topic for a 10 minute group discussion.
4:30pm—5:30pm Recreation Stations
We kick it into high gear with our special activity of the day. Scheduled
events include arts, crafts, games, music, sensory activities, sports, guest
teachers & cooking.
5:30pm—6:00 pm Wrap Up
As the program comes to an end, participants can complete any homework
assignments, play a board game with friends, have computer time, or
participate in a staff directed “mini-rec” activity.
6:00 pm Pickup/Departure
