Director's Message:

Thank you for taking time the to visit our website to find out more about the company and the programs and
services we provide. Whether you are looking for a special provider for a family member or an energetic employee
ready to Join the Mountain, I value each one of you.

Its hard to believe that we just celebrated our one year anniversary in July. In some ways it seems longer due to the
wonderful relationships I have with participants, families and providers yet at the same time it feels like it was just
yesterday I opened the door. In this first year we have grown from 2 employees to over 40. We have watched our
preschoolers go to kindergarten and high school students graduate. We made it through an exciting and action
packed Legend of the Lost Summer program and gave away our first Blue Mountain Honor Scholarship to an
employee. It has been a year of milestones and miracles and I believe it is our honesty and commitment to
developing everyone involved in the organization that fosters our growth and success.

If you are one of our current families, we thank you for continued support and the opportunity to serve you. If you
are interested in services or seeking employment, we welcome you to join the Blue Mountain family and experience
the difference.

History
Although Blue Mountain Developmental Programs, LLC opened July 2007, it has existed in my heart since 1999
while completing my undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. Since then, I have obtained a B.S. in
Recreation Management with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation (2000) and a M.Ed. in Special Education
(2004). In addition to education in relevant fields, I have had the pleasure of gaining hands on experience through
positions in community recreation, adaptive recreation, habilitation/respite, and teaching. This first year has
exceeded all my expectations in our ability to make a difference in the lives of participants, families and employees.
It is my goal that in our second year, Blue Mountain Developmental Programs, LLC will continues to provide
wonderful and meaningful life experiences for our participants and continue to add valued and respected citizens to
our community one person at a time.
